Gal Godot for REvlon
If simplicity truly is the ultimate sophistication, then this fresh makeup look is the height of modern elegance. With luminous skin, bronze smoky eyes, and soft pink lips, it’s a style for day or night, or both—you decide. And when you do, just follow these tips for getting the look that actress and Revlon Global Brand Ambassador Gal Gadot wears so well:
  1. Create a beautiful base. After moisturizing your skin and giving it a few minutes to sink in (as you start planning your next adventure), apply a buildable foundation, like ColorStay Makeup. (Gal is wearing ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin in True Beige.) Use a sponge for the smoothest application; the new Revlon Dual Sided Applicator has a nice slippery side for spreading on your base and a soft velvety side for buffing it into your skin. Always dab on your foundation starting in the center of your face, then move outward. This keeps the majority of the product in the middle of your face, where most of us have the bulk of our redness and discoloration, and eases your foundation off your face and onto your neck, so you don’t get any obvious lines.

  2. Take cover. Dab on creamy ColorStay Full Coverage Concealer, which seamlessly camouflages darkness, redness, and blemishes without being tricky to blend (with a formula that wears up to 24 hours). Just dot the concealer on whatever you’d like erased, then lightly tap the concealer until it blends into your skin. Tempting as it may be to rub it all in, you actually end up removing some of the concealer you just applied (by basically concealing your fingertips). Plus, there’s no good outcome to pulling on the delicate skin around your eyes.

  3. Play up your eyes. Who says smoky eyes have to be gray? Gal’s look is all about warm, super-flattering brown tones. To get it, use your finger to dab ColorStay Crème Eye Shadow in Cognac onto your lids. Blend it up and out, and add a little under your eyes, too, by smoothing it on with Revlon’s Line & Brow Brush. Then use the same precise brush to add a darker brown along your upper and lower lash lines, blending it really well. Gal is wearing shades from the ColorStay Looks Book Eye Shadow Palette in Original. Finish off your eyes by swiping on a light coat of black mascara (we love the lushness that Volumazing Mascara adds to a sultry look like this).

  4. Brighten up your cheeks. Doubling down on blush—using two shades instead of one—adds subtle, natural dimension to your face (because who couldn’t use that?). Start by swirling a pink shade such as Revlon Powder Blush in Oh Baby! Pink on the apples of your cheeks (just smile to find them—or pinch your cheeks to find where you naturally blush). Then dust a light, shimmery pink, like Revlon Powder Blush in Ravishing Rose, along your cheekbones as a highlight. (Need an excellent, supersmooth brush for the job? Revlon’s vegan Blush & Contour Brush does it all.)

  5. Get glowing. We love bronzer for the healthy-looking warmth it delivers. To get Gal’s natural-looking effect, take a big, fluffy brush (like the vegan Revlon Powder Brush), run it over a powder bronzer (Gal’s wearing Revlon Powder Blush in Bronze Beauty), and lightly tap off the excess. Then dust it on selectively, hitting only what makeup artists refer to as the high points of your face: your forehead, cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, and a tiny bit on your chin—all places that the sunlight would naturally bronze your face most.

  6. Give your lips some love. Finish off this soft look by slicking on a neutral-pink, creamy lip color (Gal is wearing Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blushed), and you’re ready for anything.
